Meet The AKA Team

Anthony Green (Coach) is the sole owner of AKA Hauling Commercial Driving School and brings decades of experience in training, transportation, and leadership. He served 24 years in the military, including eight years as an instructor, and has over 16 years of experience as a privately owned CDL driver in Alaska’s highly competitive construction industry. During that time, he owned and operated a successful trucking company in Anchorage, managing some of the state’s highest-grossing construction projects and leading the Anchorage City Snow Haul for four years. Mr. Green holds an associate degree in Heavy Duty Transportation and Equipment and has served for more than six years as an adjunct professor in UAA’s Diesel Technology Program, training and certifying CDL drivers across Anchorage and rural Alaska. Passionate about workforce development, he is dedicated to helping young people and career-changers access sustainable, well-paying opportunities in the trucking industry and regularly volunteers at Alaska Construction Career Days to promote careers in the trades.

Kellie Lind, daughter of CEO Anthony Green and sister to Anthony Green Jr. serves as the Director of Administration for AKA Hauling Commercial Driving School, bringing extensive expertise in financial management and organizational operations. With a strong background in finances and operations, Kellie ensures the school’s financial health and administrative operations and supports the mission of empowering the next generation of commercial drivers. Kellie is deeply rooted in family values and draws inspiration from her close-knit family. She enjoys balancing her professional career with quality family time finding inspiration and support in their close-knit bonds.

Reba Alkire is the heart and soul of our student operations as the Student Coordinator. Reba is a wife of 13 years and a mother of 2 (that I'm sure you will run into at the office, as they home school at the office. Reba has been at AKA Hauling Commercial Driving School since May of 2025. Reba spent the last 8 years as an incredible teacher! So she has the patience of a saint and what it takes to help you acheive your CDL!

Tasi Sablan brings a wealth of expertise in business administration, accounting technology, and human resources management. Holding an Associates of Applied Science in Business Administration, Accounting Technology, and Human Resources Management, from Alaska Career College. Tasi is a huge contribution to our team and is here to keep us all in line

Rhiana, as the newest addition to the admin team is a graduate of Raven home schooling in 2024. Rhiana also is a recent graduate of AKA Hauling Commercial Driving school as a Class A CDLdriver. On the side she beads and sells earrings! We are so excited to have her join our team!!

“TJ” brings 11 years of military experience training soldiers and driving anything on wheels! After completing two tours in Afghanistan, he returned to Alaska with his family to join his father’s team. In 2018, He obtained his CDL with all endorsements, and is a State of Alaska Certified Examiner. Like his father, he enjoys working with students in realizing their dreams. His key phrase; “Slow is smooth, smooth is fast.”

As a huge asset to our team, Marcose comes with a life time of experience and a welth of knowledge as our maintanence manager. He continues to assist our team with all needs that our company needs on the field. A wonderful father and person we are so grateful for what he brings to our team!

My name is Christopher Cuevas. I am a lifelong Alaskan, and I enjoy helping new drivers safely and confidently operate commercial vehicles. My goal is to help you develop the skills to drive, park, understand what you are doing and to make you feel confident throughout the entire process and beyond. It brings me joy to see students grow from unsure to a confident driver. I'm looking forward to seeing your growth and excitement once you pass and move on to greater things.

Bringing over 40 years of experience as a CDL Driver, Derrick Anderson has spent more than 18 years managing a construction trucking company. Over the last six years, he has collaborated with Mr. Green, instructing and certifying individuals for their Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Derrick holds AAA Driver Improvement Program Instructor Certification and is both a State-certified Commercial Driver Licensing Examiner and Instructor.

Mr. Leonard is the rock of the student /instructor experience, being the CDL Student Manager. Motivated by being a former student of AKA Hauling’s and completing CDL experience himself he has dedicated his efforts to the completion and learning process for each and every student . After his trained instructors have downloaded the way, you may run into Mr leanord as a no games examiner.

I am a class A certified instructor but specialize in class B/ passenger instructor! I have learned, It doesn't matter where you end up in life, go wherever your energy takes you, go with the flow. Were all fighting our own demons to become, who we are. Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise. Self-experience, listen to the voices that speak, know you're true, self value ... set, you're own goals and never feed into others. Self love is key to accomplishing your goals!

Hi my names Asher James I’m very passionate about helping new drivers learn how to operate Class A vehicles safely and confidently. I’ll focus on providing clear, step-by-step instructions, tips from real-world experience, and plenty of patience to make your learning process smooth and enjoyable. My goal is not just to teach the rules of the road, but to help every student develop the confidence, skills, and mindset they need to handle any driving situation life throws. I take pride in seeing students grow, succeed, and feel truly prepared to hit the road with assurance. I look forward to working with you!

My goal is to help you become a superstar in every endeavor that I’m able to assist you with, in you journey as a commercial driver. My number one focus is safety, for you to become a successful candidate and apply all the concepts of my 50 plus years in the industry. You will without a doubt take the concepts I present as not only valuable tools that contribute to the commercial driving aspect of your skill set , but also contribute to your ability to have solutions to challenges of life and all that you put your hand too. As a CDL instructor, I am here to help teach aspiring truck and bus drivers the necessary knowledge and hands-on skills to safely operate large vehicles and pass their Commercial exam, covering vehicle inspection and practical driving on public roads, ensuring students become competent, employable drivers.
